I’ve noticed a strange issue occurring lately and wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this problem.
Over the past few days, my phone has randomly restarted when I try to use the cover screen preview feature. The first time it happened, I was showing off the feature to someone (of course), and the phone suddenly restarted on the spot. I laughed it off, thinking maybe the phone just didn’t like my gloating.
But then it happened again this past Tuesday while I was mid-workout, trying to snap a quick photo to send to my wife. The phone restarted again, so I pressed the volume up button to clear the cache (thinking that might help). But no luck—yesterday, thesame thing happened again. Cleared the cache again. And today? Yet another restart when using the cover preview.
This time, I just let the phone reboot and figured it was time to reach out. The restart is relatively fast—not a complete power-down/power-up cycle—but it definitely interrupts the moment.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Do you have any ideas what might be causing it?
