If the rumors are true, the Fold 8 Wide will only have two cameras: a main and an ultrawide. That's a no-go for me. I can totally live without an ultrawide lens, but I can't live without a zoom!

Why do phone manufacturers think people would prefer an ultrawide over a zoom lens?

Which would you want as your secondary camera, zoom or ultrawide?

I wouldn't be surprised. I think Samsung will have best specifications for fold 8 ultra, and keep Wide as basic as much as possible

Zoom omission is a bummer but isn't shocking. That's the configuration on most phones with 2 lenses, particular those of fruitful origin.

I am quite intrigued by the shorter aspect ratio. Leaked CADs have me reconsidering because I underestimated just how wide "wide" is likely to be.

One handed usage is key for me, personally.

Standard Fold could get me depending on what the compromises are... If they can deliver a device that is in every way an Ultra that just happens to fold, I'm sold and never looking back.

Me too, if they put that antique 3x again I just might take a look at the Motorola fold.

Don't think I could bring myself to buy a moto.

When I was in the market for a Flip a few years back, I tried floor models of the RAZR and Z Flip side-by-side. Absolutely no comparison whatsoever in the hardware department.

Last time I visited my local best buy, same deal with current gen. I'm not particularly confident that Moto can produce a foldable that is the quality I personally require for my devices.

I haven't seen enough hands on yet, does look really intriguing. Pen support is a major factor for me. No silo isn't a factor either I don't keep a phone in my pocket.
