It'd be great to have a button that allows you to switch screens at will in any app. It's useful to be able to do this in your camera app, and I know that's a work around...but switching or extending the screen could be useful in many other settings. Could just be a shortcut in the Taskbar. Seems like an easy thing to do since we know the capabilities are there. Could be enabled through goodlock.
You can get around it by opening the camera app and switching to the external screen unfolded. It's useful for video calling apps to use high quality camera. It's a better experience sometimes to have a reverse flex: Alarm Clock Music apps Watching video Also it'd be nice to dual screen at times with screen sharing, picture sharing, video sharing, similar to how the translator app works
It's finicky if you want to keep the outer screen on while partly unfolding. I prefer using the outerscreen for alarm clock apps like control screen. Or setting your phone on a car dash or table and using maps or music players or video. Itd also be cool to be able to show someone the photos or videos you're looking at. Also video calls would be great to use the higher quality camera.
@edoubledie If you use Flex mode, you can watch on the outside screen while the phone is partially folded. I do this all the time on the airplane seat tray.
Yes, it's just finicky..sometimes it works, sometimes it kicks over to the interior. Itd just be a simple feature to make it more convenient and consistent
