I’m extremely disappointed with Samsung’s decision to remove stylus-related functionality on the Galaxy Z Fold 7—specifically the inability to use a stylus or Bluetooth stylus button as a camera shutter. The Fold line is marketed as a premium productivity device for power users. Remote camera control via stylus or accessory is not a niche feature—it’s useful for selfies, tripod shots, work documentation, accessibility, and hands-free use. These are exactly the scenarios where a Fold should shine. What’s frustrating is that this functionality previously existed. Removing features on a $1,600+ flagship feels like regression, not innovation. Even if official S Pen support was dropped, there is no good reason basic Bluetooth shutter functionality couldn’t be supported through software. Many of us chose the Fold specifically because it was different—more capable, more flexible, more professional. Decisions like this undermine that value proposition. I strongly urge Samsung to reconsider this direction and restore stylus and/or Bluetooth camera shutter support in future updates or upcoming Fold models. Sorry to disappoint, but it looks like the S Pen is ☠️. If you check out the S25U or Tab S11, the S Pen is no longer Bluetooth. The s pen was removed from zf7 to make it thinner to credit it is thin, idk if is a excuse but who knows
Hi I found a s-pen for the Zfold 7. I just got my phone and picked this s-pen up on Amazon. It doesn't work. Here is the name of the product.
