Has anyone else had an issue using their Z Fold 7 on the September 1st Update when unlocking the device, the System UI (Navbar, status bar icons, etc) don't load in? It unlocks back to the app I was using, but I can't interact or swipe home. If I lock and unlock the phone again it works like normal.

I only seem to notice it when I have audio playing (generally via Spotify)

Has anyone else observed similar behavior?

@MusicManNick I'm not seeing that on my Fold 7. Did you wipe the device cache partition after the update? I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.

To wipe the device cache partition:

1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

I haven't been able to reproduce it since doing this, so that may have done the trick - thanks for the input!

So it did actually end up happening again after cleaning - I've only been able to reproduce it when connected to my car and using Android Auto. The status bar doesn't load in, and I can't navigate away from whatever is open when I unlock the phone until I lock and unlock it again.

At this point, I'm strongly considering a factory data reset lol
