Fold & Flip PhonesHey DallastheUnderdog, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with the No SIM message when the Fold is closed.
Just as an FYI, the major OS updates come from Google, who sends it to Samsung to add the One UI. It is then sent to the service providers, who send it to customers.
Have you tried any of the steps listed under the Best Practices after an Update? https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871
You can test the hardware of the phone in the Members app, under the Support tab. Select Diagnostics.
Here is a link with steps to troubleshoot the SIM card: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001620/
If you continue to receive the No SIM message, we recommend having the phone evaluated by an authorized repair center. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the evaluation: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
For assistance outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
If you purchased a Samsung Premium Care or Care+ membership with your device, this plan does cover repairs outside the warranty. You can find more information about this plan here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/samsung-care-plus/
