Just over a week ago, I was not only surprised to finally be getting an update but shocked when I realized it was pushing through Android 15 and One UI 7 back to back. **bleep**.

I'm tech savvy. I love to learn. I love getting into the inner workings of android devices and customizing. So I was definitely afraid I was **bleep**.

For several days everything went surprisingly well but I also had enough sense to back the heck off and let things smooth out knowing I was probably sitting on a ticking time bomb...

About 3 days ago I started to start using my phone as normal. As I mentioned I do a lot of customizations. But no significant side loading no ABD etc. but I like to use what works out of each ecosystem to give me a better experience. That might mean one app from Google went out from Samsung a third party launcher but still Samsung dialer, throw in Microsoft edge for my browser, just things like that.

By that evening I noticed that it wasn't battery drain it was the lag. And I start noticing random Samsung apps I've never had a problem with constantly running. I would put out one small fire just to have another one pop up. But all of the background processes or Samsung apps that I have tracked down seemed all directly relate to notification and or location services.

And we know that when you lie came with significant and have you changes in both notification and location services.

Thankfully I have a backup phone... Because currently my Visa for is almost useless because I cannot even turn on location, as in the general basis of what most of our services run off of haha without any and all Samsung apps that require location for machines and or have had notification changes just forever recycling in the background.

Sigh. That's all.

Oh and not to mention I have a Galaxy watch 6 but I'm still waiting on that update to come so that has exact related things because now it's competing with a broken update that it can't even really relate to. My Galaxy manager app is a mess right now because of this and it's causing constant background processes.

And to think this time last year I was debating on even moving on from my S10+!

And yes - it's all been tried. Factory resetting, cache partitions, restricting services, clearing cache and data of apps, etc . It almost feels like a trojan horse, when I think I've stopped one thing another issue pops up, so therefore I just have to let that phone sit, until the carrier pushes through the patch for it because you know, our hands are tied while we wait on our carriers to push through these updates...

It's 130am. I'm out.

I was working off dual SIM with a physical Sim on T-Mobile and an eSIM on visible when the update came through. Also have Galaxy watch 6 - which speaking of.

I'm still waiting for that last update so you can imagine the conflict that started happening with Galaxy watch manager after this Android 15 and one UI 7! Galaxy watch manager is so broken right now because it's so far behind this current broken update.
