This will ensure that a real expert takes a look at your network profile in their system. You want to be absolutely certain this isn't on their end before trying other options.

Additionally, if your number was previously registered with iMessages, you will need to remove, unlink or deregister your Phone Number from Apple's iMessage Service through your Apple account.
