Fold & Flip Phones

Hello, I recently factory reset my Flip 6 and found my keyboard to be quite an inconvenience. When it comes to requesting a one time pass codes, the pass code does not populate automatically on my samsung keyboard. I've circled/marked my screenshot to kinda show what I mean. Before my factory reset, my phone wasn't giving me this issue until now. Please spare me going into my settings then google services then all services then verification codes by SMS. I need and would appreciate a solution from the community. Thanks!

My s22 ultra has done the exact same thing. It started working again on its own! For real. Best of luck friend.

Hey there, april_!

I understand how frustrating this can be for you. Since you've performed a Factory Reset, have you checked to see if the phone and the Samsung keyboard is up-to-date?

Update Phone:

Navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install (If Available).

Update Samsung Keyboard:

- Galaxy Store: Open the Galaxy Store > search for "Samsung Keyboard," > and update (If Available).

- Settings: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for system updates that include keyboard enhancements.

Clear Cache on the Samsung keyboard:

1. Open Settings: Navigate to your apps, select Settings.
2. Locate Apps: Tap on Apps.
3. Show System Apps: Tap the sort icon (next to 'Your apps') and toggle on Show system apps, then tap OK.
4. Find Samsung Keyboard: Scroll and select Samsung Keyboard from the list.
5. Clear Cache: Tap Storage, then tap Clear Cache.

Alternative Method: Reset Keyboard Settings
If clearing the cache does not fix the issue, you can reset the keyboard settings.

1. Go to Settings > General management.
2. Select Samsung keyboard settings.
3. Tap Reset to default settings.
4. Select Reset keyboard settings to confirm.

Reset Network Settings:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap General management.
3. Select Reset.
4. Select Reset network settings.
5. Tap the blue Reset settings button to confirm.
6. Enter your device PIN or password if prompted, and tap Reset once more to complete.

Note: Performing a Network Reset deletes saved Wi-Fi networks, previous paired Bluetooth devices, resets background data sync settings, and restores default mobile network settings. You would need to re-add or re-sync all of your preferred settings and devices.

Let me know if this helps! ๐Ÿ™‚
