What do you mean "is it worth updating"? You understand you have no choice, don't you? Once you get the update notice on your phone, you could postpone it a few times, but it will update whether you want it to or not, as you agreed to in the TOS when you purchased your phone either from Samsung, through your carrier or from an authorized third party and then you agreed to the TOS again when you set up cell service.
