When I did a software update, my quick button for screen recording was gone. Does anyone know how to screen record?

Pull down from the top right of the home screen to bring down the quick panel. Tap the pencil icon. Edit the quick panel icons and add your screen recording shortcut back.

If you want your row of 6 icons back, tap the pencil, go to panel settings, and change it to "together." Before you exit, tap "edit top quick settings."

@Deefoster50 Try this:

  1. Swipe down from the right side of the screen.
  2. Click the pen (edit) icon.
  3. Click Edit in the middle of the Quick panel .
  4. Look through the available buttons near the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click the icon for Screen recorder to add it to the Quick panel.

I gave up trying to figure it out. I just use the new aggravating pull down menu and tap the icon. However, by the time i get it going I missed what I was trying to record

See my instructions on how to do it with the Edge Panels instead.

Go into Settings > Display and toggle on Edge Panels. Tap where it says Edge Panels to open the settings.

Make sure that one of your selected Panels is the Tasks panel. You can edit this to add Record Screen as one of the functions on the panel (it should be near the bottom of the list of tasks).

Whenever you want to do a screen recording, just slide out this panel and tap the Record Screen icon. 1747866821966.jpg1747866822001.jpg1747866822050.jpg
