Secure Folder requires lock screen protection in order to access feature

I have a settings question... This has been a back and forth thing for me. I used to be able to have my Secure Folder password protected without having to have any kind of Lock Screen Security. Get a new device, now I need Lock Screen security. My last two devices, I've been able to have my Secure Folder password protected without Lock Screen Wecurity. Just got the Fold 7 and now I need Lock Screen security again. How can I go back to just have it password protected without Lock Screen Security? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I might forget to turn the screen off. It's comforting to know that when I exit the app, the app locks

Best thing for everyone to do, go to the main page of the members app, click on support, and then move down to send feedback and express your frustrations there. Maybe, just maybe, if enough people complain, maybe it has a chance of returning.

In One UI8, lock upon exiting has been removed and is no longer an automatic option.

Sorry I thought it was still a feature but there are still pretty quick ways to lock it maybe not as fast as jst leaving an app but maybe this will help check out my screen shot

did they remove the autolock feature for when you Exit the App? because all i see now is to autolock After you lock your phone i feel the autolocking after i close the app to be safer please bring the option back? 🙏

Yes, they removed the option "each time I leave an app" from the recent update.
