Sending videos messenger and messages

Why cant I send a 33 second video to someone on messenger. My dad took the video. But its blurry but I can send it to my boyfriend on text but not on messenger. I can send short videos but not long ones

Are you referring to Facebook Messenger?

You shouldn't be hitting a file size limit on a 30 second video unless it is a high quality video file that exceeds 100mb.

You can try troubleshooting the app by going to Settings > Apps > Messenger > Storage > Clear Cache. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

If even that doesn't fix it, you will need to contact Meta regarding their app

If your texted videos are sending at a low or "blurry" quality, you are likely not using RCS

For most users, using Google Messages and turning on RCS is the easiest way to get advanced messaging features like high quality videos, as long as both users have RCS enabled

You will know if RCS is available because when composing a text message, the text field will say "RCS" instead of "SMS" or "MMS"

Didn't work but if I took videos it works its only when my dad took a bad unclear video.
