Suddenly no sound at all on Galaxy Z Fold 7

So I have the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Purchased it back in October 2025. Everything has been great for the most part except now for some reason, I suddenly have no sound, no notifications, no music, no ringing for phone calls, no speaker. Except through my Galaxy Buds 4 Pros...quite frustrating. Anyone else have this happen? 


UPDATE:
So I did the latest software update as soon as it was available, and that seemed to fix it. No resets. I followed all the other steps mentioned but didn't want to reset. But after update it's all working again.

@Tippitytapp I've never had this happen on my Fold 7 nor any of my other phones. Have you tried disconnecting the Buds 4 Pro? Have you checked phone settings -> Sounds and vibration to make sure that it is set to sound AND the volume is turned up? 

If that doesn't resolve it, have you tried rebooting your phone?

If you are still stuck, try booting into safe mode. That will disable all 3rd party apps.

@LongHiker Thanks, i tried all of the above and the info in the link, to no avail. Quite frustrating to say the least. It also drains the battery incredibly fast and keeps deregistering and re-registering to the service provider

Does yours also keep disconnecting from the service provider and saving emergency calls only? And battery drains from 100 to 0 in just a couple hours

Connection to provider is OK. Battery drains indeed. Phonecall: other side hears me but i hear Notting.  No sound through speaker. Buds are OK. Reboot, save mode, ... nu success
