Fold & Flip Phones
#ZFlip7
Twice now I have experienced my whole screen (home screen & vover screen) randomly flashing...had to power off or restart the device for it to quit? Anyone else experienced this?

That's still a new-gen phone. Did you buy it secondhand?

Samsung Z Fold 7 screen flickering
can stem from software (brightness, apps, updates) or hardware (loose connections, damaged screen), often fixed by adjusting brightness/adaptive settings, checking Safe Mode for app conflicts, or updating, but if it persists, especially with lines or after minimal use, it's likely a hardware fault needing Samsung repair, as users report spontaneous inner screen failures. Start with simple fixes like turning off adaptive brightness, then try Safe Mode; if it continues, contact Samsung support, as internal screen issues seem common and may require professional service.
Software Troubleshooting (Try these first)
Adjust Brightness: Go to Settings > Display and disable "Adaptive Brightness" (or "Auto Brightness"). Increase brightness manually if flickering occurs at low levels.
Check Safe Mode: Restart your phone in Safe Mode (only core apps run). If flickering stops, a third-party app is the cause; uninstall recently added apps.
Software Updates: Ensure your phone has the latest OS and security patches, as updates often fix display bugs.
Disable Extras: In Display settings, try turning off "Touch sensitivity" or "Accidental touch protection".
