I am currently using a Z Fold 5 and have been experiencing an issue affecting my device’s connectivity features. Specifically, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile hotspot are intermittently unavailable, and at times they refuse to enable altogether.

Additionally, I have noticed that the device becomes unusually hot during startup, with the temperature increasing significantly.

After researching the issue, I found suggestions to clear the cache via recovery mode. However, I was surprised to find that the “wipe cache partition” option is no longer available in the recovery mode menu.

I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue or any recommended troubleshooting steps.

Hello @talalahmed, Since your ZFold5 issue still persists, I would recommend having your device looked at by a technician. You can send myself or the other Moderators with your model code and IMEI number along with a link to this post, or you can contact customer support at 1-800-SAMSUNG(1-800-726-7864) to have service set up.

Hey there, Talalahmed, thanks for sharing this concern with us.  I’m sorry to hear your Fold is giving you so much trouble. Samsung has transitioned away from a dedicated cache partition on newer models using A/B seamless updates. For these devices, the option is often removed because the system now manages temporary files automatically during updates.

However, if you still want to try accessing the full recovery menu, modern Samsung firmware often requires a USB-C connection to a PC (or another Samsung device) to trigger it. Without being plugged into a computer while holding the Volume Up + Power buttons, you may only see a limited menu.

Some other troubleshooting steps that might help would be resetting the Network settings or checking the phone in Safe Mode. To reset the network: Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. This clears saved networks and pairings, which often fixes software-level glitches.

Check in Safe Mode: Hold the Power menu, then long-press "Power off" to see the Safe Mode prompt. If the connectivity works here and the heat stays low, a third-party app is likely causing the conflict.

thank you for you support

I would like to confirm that I have already tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps prior to contacting you, including resetting network settings and testing the device in Safe Mode. Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue, and the problem still persists.

However, I have noticed something unusual that may indicate the root cause. When I apply moderate physical taps to the device (not just light tapping, but slightly stronger impact), the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and hotspot start working normally again, and even the device temperature returns to normal. This improvement typically lasts for a few hours before the issue reoccurs.

I own a Galaxy Fold 6, and since installing the UI 8 update, I haven’t been able to connect to any Bluetooth devices at all for over a week. I’ve followed every troubleshooting step that’s been suggested, including performing a full factory reset, but nothing has worked.

From what I’ve read, this has been an ongoing issue for months. The only reason I’m experiencing it now is because I finally decided to install the update—something I usually delay for this exact reason. While updates may be optional at first, they eventually become unavoidable. This issue is more than an inconvenience. I rely on Bluetooth to connect to my car, and without it, my ability to drive safely is impacted.

I need a clear resolution as soon as possible. If this problem cannot be addressed within a reasonable timeframe( one week), I will consider escalating the issue publicly and exploring further action along with others experiencing the same problem to file a class action lawsuit. Many of us are still paying off these devices, which cost nearly as much as a mortgage.

I'm so happy (in a sense) to find this because I am having the same problems for the last 2 weeks.

And same, I have tried everything. Next step is to bring it to a technician but obviously it seems to be a glitch of the phone. Now, my phone completely refuse to connect to Bluetooth and WiFi.

I understand it's a Z folder 5 and the phone has 3 years... (I got it in December 2022) but my S21 that I got in 2020 it currently working better than my Z Fold.

And I would had that the phone seems to want to connect to wifi because the "4GLTE" keeps "glitching" like it's challenged by something else but no connection happens. And Bluetooth is completely lost.
