Fold & Flip PhonesHello,
I bought a ZFlip 6 April of 2025. Last month my phone started to freeze and i could only turn the phone off with the flip closed because i couldn't touch the turn off because the display was completely frozen.
When it turned on it was still frozen on the main display, only the front screen was working. I tried to do a hard restart and that didn't work either.
I charged it to 100% and then the front display stopped working also. I could unlock the device with my fingerprint but could no longer use the front display or the main display.
I left it alone overnight and tried again the next day and when it was still frozen, i tried to restart it again and the main display was completely black even tho the flip front display would show the samung logo as it was turning on. Now, neither display is working even tho it is technically on.
I cannot put it into safe mode and i can't do anything because the displays are black. I had to get a new phone because this one is completely unusable.
Galaxy Z Flip6 256GB (Unlocked)

Model Code: 356630263103149
Thanks

Fold & Flip PhonesBased on your post, it seems like you may have already moved onto a new device, but here are some things you can try if you still have it.
If the issue is software-relatesd, you should still be able to boot the device into recovery mode if it is unresponsive in the way you describe. (While powered off, simultaneously hold volume up + side key) If you are able to access recovery mode, attempt to wipe cache partition and reboot the device.
If the device still fails to start, boot into recovery again, but this time perform a factory reset.
If even a reset doesn't fix it, connect the device to a PC running Smart Switch. Attempt to do a clean firmware install on the device.
If even that doesn't get your device up and running, it is likely a hardware issue. You can take it into a service center to diagnose and repair the issue.

Hope this helps!
