I recently traded in  my Galaxy Buds Pro for the Buds Pro 2. My primary reason for the upgrade was the Buds Pro were not comfortable, and the battery life wasn't great.

The Buds Pro 2 are definitely more comfortable to me, and the battery life has been better.

The ANC on the other hand has been very disappointing to me. I can't even tell the difference between ANC on vs having it off without ambient sound.
With ANC on I can still cleary hear all background noise just as if the Buds were just sitting in my ear.

I hope some software update can address this.

Am I the only one experiencing less than ideal performance in regards to ANC on the Buds Pro 2?

I've noticed the same thing, but I primarily use the ambient setting so no problem for me. Personally I think the only TRUE noise canceling head phones go over the ear, Buds just don't seal all outside noise πŸ™„

Apple has done a great job with ANC. My son has the Air Pod Pros, and the ANC is excellent for in ear buds.
I'm sure the Air Pod Pros 2 will be even better.

I'm definitely disappointed in the ANC.

The ANC is disappointing but in my experience, it does do a little bit. With music playing, it is no problem to me.

I have been noticing that my active noice canceling on my Galaxy buds 2 have been wearing out because before I couldn't hear that much but now I hear the outside more, I've been cleaning and putting bigger ear tips on them but no change

Does anybody knows what wrong or if it does really wear out? Please let me know

I am no expert, but these are electronics, and they are all solid state. That means, they're either working, or they're not working, I don't believe an electronic device can just simply wear out certain functions. With that being said, I am presuming there is another factor that is causing your issue.

See if the vents and everything are cleaned, and make sure anc is on. There should be an option to increase the strength of the anc on the galaxy wear app.

When I first got my Buds2 Pro the ANC was great it blocked things out so well, but over time it just started to degrade. I could hear things better and better. Cut to today and turning it off works better than the ANC. I reset the buds, disconnected them, updated them, cleaned them with alcohol, tried different tips, everything. It just won't work. I got these specifically for blocking noise and this makes me sad.
Edit: Would this be covered by the warranty?

They think one day of updating the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and fixing the cancellation noise that doesn't work as it should, if they don't fix it, unfortunately I'll change them for the Airpods Pro that sound much better.
