Galaxy Buds Live model SM-R180 does not connect to the Gear App

Hi,

Does anyone have an answer to the problem of the Galaxy Buds Live not connecting to the Samsung Gear App.  The buds connect to the Note 20 bluetooth but not the app.  

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success but the blutooth connection is always connected.
