Galaxy Buds+ call disconnects when one bud is removed

So I could be wrong but there used to be a setting where you could choose which headphone is used as the primary headphone for calls. That setting is no longer there in the Wearable app. When I take my left earbud out during a call the right one automatically disconnects. So I can't use my right earbud unless I have both in.

I understand how frustrating this can be. When the earbuds are inserted in the ears they are paired together in perfect sync to provide stereo sound. When one earbud is removed, the remaining earbud should be switching to mono sound automatically. Check to see if block new touches is disabled. Try resetting the earbuds. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078085 If the earbuds continue to disconnect calls when one bud is removed, service would be recommended.
