Evidently, I had the wrong size earbuds in and my ear itself was pushing them out causing the buds to think I was pulling them out. Thanks for your help.

Have you checked to see if the apps are being put to sleep?

No they're not being put to sleep. I specifically removed them from both the put to sleep and optimize battery usage categories.

Have you already attempted a reset for the buds?

I am having the same issue, my galaxy buds are randomly switching themselves off, sometimes they reset and turn back on themselves after a few bleeps, but then the touch pad stops working, so I have to put them back into the case to reset, other times I can take them out my ears, put them back in and they are fine again until it does it again.

This started happening right after the latest update to the galaxy buds (April 28th 2020) before that, they were fine.

I have done a reset of the buds, I have uninstalled the wearable app etc but still happens, I have contacted Samsung customer support but they don't seem to care much to get this sorted, I cannot take them back to store (bought in Dec 2019) as the store is closed due to CoronaVirus lock down.

Thank you for reaching out! Have you tried testing the earbuds with the phone in Safe Mode? This would ensure there are no third-party apps interfering with how the earbuds function.

Hi, I use my buds for sleeping and they automatically pause music after 30 mins exactly. I lay on my back and don't move at all. I'm not in any optimized settings, running full blast for my phone and nothing. It seems to me the buds shut off while still in ear if you stay still for too long. When it paused my music I tried using the touch pad and it didn't work. So I took out the bud, put it back in and it worked again. I really hope there is a fix for this because I don't want to used wired headphones. Thanks!

That happens to me too! I discovered it was because my phone was going to sleep. I found that putting the app into the Never Sleeping App list under Battery and Device Care fixed the issue! I hope that fixes your issue too!
