I got some Galaxy Buds Pro last November, and my experience with them has been awful. I have trouble keeping them in my ears, id feel them start to fall out and have to adjust them, which paused or skipped whatever I was listening to, so I didnt really use them very often as a result, and missed out on the 15 day return policy. I have not dropped them, despite the struggle to keep them in my ears.

This last month I decide I might as well use them, the music quality is great so I might as well give them another try, and after a couple weeks of minimal use the right one whistles and screeches. In terms of use and comfort, these have far lasted less time than the $10 earbuds I used to buy from walmart. The sound cancelling and sound quality are great, and the case charging is kinda neat, but these have been a terrible experience overall as far as headphones go. Touch controls seem to work only when they want to, or when adjusting them so they dont fall out of the ear.

Ive never purchased anything but Samsung phones and TVs before these headphones, do these still have a warranty I can go through? Id like to at least get my moneys worth if I could.

Yeah the Buds Pro hands an iffy fit for most people it seems

Mine didn't necessarily fit my ears too well either but got new ear tips for then and that fixed the issue for the most part. They still fall out a little bit but not as drastically as they did before. I wish I could have a pair of earbuds that had the shape and fitment of the Lives but the ANC and audio quality of the Pros. The Buds Live were the most comfortable earbuds I ever work in my life and those suckers practically refused to fall out of my ears no matter how hard my head shook

I have the opposite issue. Samsung Buds pro and Buds live fit me perfect. I can never get a good fit with Airpods Pro, any Sony headphone, Beats. The only brands that fit me are Samsung and Jay birds. I'm pretty sure each brand has an "average" ear shape they are tailored to so just gotta find which brand works for you.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with the fit of your buds pro and the screeching/whistling sound you are experiencing. If you’re experiencing static noises when using one or both of your Galaxy Buds, such as the Galaxy Buds2 or earlier models, you can try a few things to solve the issue. You can check for updates to your earbuds as well as your connected phone or tablet to ensure your devices have the latest software version. Restarting and resetting your earbuds can also help clear any minor problems. Give these links a try for some troubleshooting steps to resolve the whistling/ screeching/whistling sound your Galaxy buds pro are making: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01211003/ and https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/what-to-do-when-my-galaxy-buds-pros-noise-control-...

Another feature our Galaxy buds pro have is the block touch feature. Give this link a try for the ways to make sure your block touch controls are turned off and you can reserve the steps, if you wish to turn them on, please look under the Make sure the touchpads are not locked section: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01208806/

As @DarkPhox mentioned, I would recommend trying the different sizes of wingtips for your Galaxy buds pro to see if a different size may cause the buds to fit properly. In the past, you may have worn earbuds that either pinched your ears or were too loose. Both options are equally uncomfortable, whether you're out jogging or just listening to music. Thankfully, you'll never have those problems with your Samsung earbuds. If they don't fit right, you can simply swap the earbud tips and wingtips. If you wear your buds correctly, it will help ensure they remain comfortable while providing the best sound and call quality possible.

Caution: Do not insert the earbuds in your ears without earbud tips or wingtips because it may harm your ears. Do not pull the earbud tip or wingtip excessively because they may tear. If you experience ear pain or skin irritation at any time while using the earbuds or other in-ear devices, please stop using the device immediately and consult with your doctor. Give this link a try under the section Attach the earbud tips on your Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds2 and Wear your Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds2 properly for the way to get the best fit from your buds: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00082785/

For some reason I cant reply to anyone. Mod never answered the big question about if and what the warranty is on these. Im not able to edit the post either. The mod said something about a service repair, but not if it costs anything or is covered under warranty.

I tried multiple different wingtips to keep them in my ears, ill have to try some from another brand of headphone if they still work. Thanks for the suggestion!

Unrelated, but this is the second time my post has become uninteractable or changed without my request(last time it was changed to a comment on an irrelevant post so it never got answered and I got a dozen notifications that I could not reply to), making the conversation either impossible to continue or have. This is the only forum ive ever had this happen on. What is causing this?

Tbh, that is not right. If your device is under warranty, then they are obligated to get your device fixed. They shouldn't deflect on sending you to help forums, even if it's their own, to figure out how to fix things.

Tell them their obligations and don't let them ride.

It hasnt been warranty before but their customer service every other time ive had an issue has been so awful im extremely wary about consulting them about the warranty on a product like these, without knowing what im getting into ahead of time.

Ive never used Samsung warranty before, so I dont know how it works compared to other warranties, some have you pay shipping, others dont, sometimes product warranty is different than phone warranty, etc. I did end up contacting them about this warranty, and asked a question about it, and the representative didnt seem to understand the question, and I dont know if what they did tell me was accurate, because when I asked an unrelated question, they did not understand it and insisted on factory wiping the phone- which had nothing to do with what I was asking.

I might just cut my losses, and avoid Samsung for anything other than phones.
