Galaxy BudsHey there,
I'm a long-time user of galaxy buds+. Love them. I just bought a 2nd pair because my old ones broke and other earbuds don't quite match up.
I was shocked when I discovered that the new version of the wearable app bricked the standard functionality options of the earbuds. You now only get to choose in-ear detection for calls, and not for regular audio.
If you look up how to change it, even the samsung page for fixing this shows the option on the old version of the app, so now if you take an earbud out your music stops 100% guaranteed every time.
To make matters worse, power users can't circumvent this by sideloading an older version of the app (even at their own risk) because the wearable app is forced to be fully up to date to function at all.
I am begging you to put the functionality back in so my $450 of earbuds aren't halfway effective. It is wild that this wasn't caught before sending this version of the app because this is a base function and selling point of these earbuds. Samsung support can't help and said the only thing that can be done is making a forum post so I'm here begging that you go back to the old functionality that should have never been removed.
