Are you using the original charger that came with the Galaxy buds?
-If not I would recommend using the original charging cable.
Note: Use only Samsung-approved charging devices and accessories. Samsung accessories are designed for your device to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may void your warranty and may cause damage.

Hey there!
Have you already tried resetting your buds through the wearables application?

Yes, I did this but didn’t change anything. I will reset it again. I am going to discharge both buds and case and charge them to 100 percent and see if it fixes the problem or not. This issue has been reported many times in reddit. This is the second pair I have and both have the same exact issue. I really love them but it is forcing me to return them.

I'm sorry to hear this, please keep us posted once you reset them.

I reset them yesterday and drained the batteries completly then I charged them to 100. After that I just used the buds for 25 min then put them in the case. It was green for about 16 hours then it turned yellow. Except that 25 min I hadn't used them at all but it turned yellow. If it goes like before it turns to red very soon. The case loses juice without using the buds.

Hey there
I returned them and bought a new one. But They had the same problem. What I found is that it was my problem because I was opening the case cap regurly. When you put the pieces inside the case, after maybe 20 minutes the buds go to sleep mode and when you open them they turn on again which eats the battery. Now i just open the case when I need them and the problem has solved. If you open the case regularly stop it. If the problem persists I recommend you to to return them. You may wait until you get new firmware update. Maybe it's just software bug.

I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!! The ambient sound STAYS ON. I did a little test with my first gen earphones and my plus.... As soon as I turn the ambient sound off my battery was back to normal drain on my case. The regular buds lasted 2 weeks with the case and after the update the ambient sound is actually making my regular buds drop down too. The fix is to simply turn ambient off in the gear app and turn it back on when you want to use it!!!
