Galaxy Buds

I have galaxy buds 33AA and they were working fine till yesterday. I tried unpairing and pairing them again. Tried increasing the bud volume and it's to the max level. Increased the media volume and nothing ..found one solution online in developers option and diasbled absolute volume sync and still nothing. I don't have audio media sync in the blutooth advance setting so that's not an option. My phone is Galaxy S10+

My free pair of buds that I got with my GS10 started having this problem last year.  While I was waiting for a replacement I bought a pair from Best Buy.  Since then I've had to have the free pair replaced twice.  I was hoping that maybe the retail version was spared this defect, but that pair has now gone bad as well.

They were purchased in October,  2019.

What can I do to get the retail pair replaced?

Thanks,

Rob

They were not built to last forever , unfortunately, you will just have to buy a new pair.

I'm sorry your dealing with such issues and id be glad to assist you in this matter.
In this case your best option would be to contact samsung directly as their are no service center that will physically service the Ear buds onsite these items are usually shipped out with proof purchase or further inspection down below i have attached a link

For shipping repair, you need to call Samsung, the hotline is indicated in this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/

I would call Samsung Customer service to check to see if i have warranty . If you have warranty you are eligible to request for a replacement. For replacement , you need to call Samsung, the hotline is indicated in this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/. The number is going to be listed on that link, call that number and speak to a representative. Please be sure to have the proof of purchase handy because you will have to submit that. They will provide you with a UPS shipping label and will give you all of the instructions.

Hope all is well user5pHSVALwXN other than your ear bud issue

There are some possible issues that might be causing it such as:

  1. Blockage in the Output of the Bud on the speaker grill causing a lower or muffled sound.
  2. Water may have seeped in causing internal damage to device.
  3. The bud itself isn’t calibrated properly

I suggest calling 1-800-Samsung for a mail in repair, if you are under warranty and no physical damage was done to the unit it should be an easy fix. But if you are not there may be a do the repair

*Make sure your galaxy wearables software is up to date*

I hope you found this information useful.

Hello user5PhSVAlwxn,

Hope all is well. I have noticed you have tried all the necessary steps to getting this solved, and I'm sorry it is not working out for you.

My suggestion would be to directly call 1800-SAMSUNG (1800-726-7864)

Reach out the a representative and let them know that you want to send your device in for service as the sound is louder on one bud than the other. You will need to submit a valid proof of purchase via text message in order for them to process this request, and it typically takes 10-14 business days of a turnaround time for you to receive them back. They will provide you with all the instructions if you call them directly. They will also ask for the serial number of the device so please be sure to have that handy, usually it is on the bottom of the charging case/or original box.

Please let me know if there is anything else you need help with. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!

I'm sorry your having issues with sound. Your best bet is to contact samsung directly 1800-726-7864. If they are not able to fix  it they may be able to replace them possibly. I cannot guarantee they will automatically send you new ones but it would be your best bet. The length of time to get the replacement would be decided on the phone call. So I would let them know its urgent. If the buds are under warranty still then you will have a much shorter phone call and they should send them in a timely fashion.

Hello user5pHSVAlwXN,

I am sorry you have tried all the troubleshooting steps to get this issue solved with your buds and the problem is still re-ocurring.

My suggestion is to call 1800-SAMSUNG (1800-726-7864). Once you call them, try to reach a representative and have the valid proof of purchase handy and the serial number of the device. Let them know you want to mail in the buds for service and they will email you a UPS shipping label and give you the proper instructions on how to do this process. It typically takes 7-14 business days for you to receive them back. The serial number and the proof of purchase is typically what is needed as long as the device was purchased less than a year ago.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Take care and stay well!
