Galaxy wearable app launches every time I connect on S9

I switch between a couple of devices with my buds. Whenever I reconnect to my phone, the wearable app launches.

I've deleted the app several times, but every time I reconnect, the phone automatically downloads it again. The only method I've found that is supposed to work is using a process disabling app, but that requires root access.

While I'll never buy Samsung buds (or anything else made by Samsung) ever again, this is driving me so nuts I'm about 5 minutes from rooting this phone just so I can kill this app, permanently. And possibly the phone along with it, so I'll have an excuse to buy another one that isn't a Samsung.

How do I disable or completely banish this irritating **bleep** app from my S9?

I understand that if you turn your phone's Bluetooth on first, then the device, it won't auto-launch.
