Help! My left ear bud is not working and I cannot fix it.

For about 2-3 months now my left Galaxy ear bud has not been working. When I put it in the case to charge it doesn't show up as being in the case. I cannot update my working earbud because it requires both to be connected. The left cannot charge, connect, update, or even be usable. I tried reading the manual but nothing in there seems to mention this issue to help me. I don't know how to fix this without buying a new pair or sending in for repair. Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do? I'd really appreciate it. Please and thank you!!

I'm having the same exact issue with right ear bud. Can't seem to find a resolve for this. Resetting, etc did nothing and I still can't update
