Itchy ears after using Galaxy earbuds

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue with having itchy ears when using the Galaxy earbuds?

I seriously can't wear them for 30 min because of the itch! They are horrible to use. I clean my ears almost every day so it's not that.
I've tried all of the bud sizes to see if that would help even though they didn't fit comfortably.

I've come to the conclusion that it might be in the weight distibution. I've tried Apple's Airpods (which don't fit comfortably) and those didn't have the same issue. I think that since the weight hangs down from your ears, (like in normal earphones) they don't become itchy like the Galaxy earbuds.
That is just my theory... Does anyone else have the same problem and is there a solution to this? For me they are almost unusable.

Perhaps you're allergic to the material the earbuds are made from, and itchy ears is the reaction?

A little bit on the tip of your finger and put it where it itches.

It doesn't have to do with anything about the earphones....

It doesn't have to do with anything about the earphones. This is a sensation that a lot of people suffer from. When you put something that blocks your ear holes can cause this sensation. Not only that but when you have the ear canal plugged the vibrations from the sound will make it worse.. go get yourself some external headphones rather than ones that plug right into your ear canal. My neighbor is a i ear and nose specialist. I was having this exact same problem and this is what he told me. You know how you said you clean your ears everyday? He told me that the more ear wax in my ear the less I will feel this sensation. So maybe try not cleaning your ears for several days. But yeah just get some earphones that don't plug into your ear canal and the problem will go away just like it did for me

Re: It doesn't have to do with anything about the earphones....

I'm sorry but this is simply not true as I have not ever had this problem with any of my other in-ear headphones that I would keep in for hours and hours, even sleep in (hello shure se215)

I am in the same boat.  I can use every other in-the-earbuds without problem.  But, when I try to use my expensive Galaxy earbuds my ear itches so bad it's distracting.  So frustrating.

I get itchiness from rubber-like earbuds and need to figure out how to treat that. What did your ENT Dr. friend suggest, to just let it heal a few days on its own? Did you feel a difference? I was considering gettinf ear drops, but should I let it be for a few days?

Yea... no.... this is more like an allergic reaction to the tips of the earbuds....

I never have any issue with other in-ear earbuds and I clean my ears regularly.

Samsung for some reason used a cheap material for the galaxy buds tip and I think that's the problem
