Right bud red exclamation point won't connect

My buds were working fine. I've had them about 5 months.  All of a suddent, must have been an update or something, the right bud shows a red exclamation point and I can't get it to connect.  Everything else is fully charged.  I tried uninstalling the app, disconnecting, unpairing and forgetting the bluetooth connection, but nothing is working.  Has anyone been able to fix this?
