Is there a way to leave my buds 3 pro earbuds powered off  -- *without* having the case with me -- until I am ready to use them?

I am going to be running a half-marathon soon and plan to run with my buds in for the music.  Up until now I just put them in when I walk out my front door.  But the day of the race, there's going to be a significant amount of time from when I can check my gear bag to when I actually start to run my race (it will be at least an hour or so) -- I don't want my buds to be powered on that entire time as I'm worried they'll run out of battery during my race.  And I don't want to have to carry my case with me while i'm running.

 

Is there a way to leave the buds powered off until i'm ready to start?

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We understand wanting to keep the earbuds powered off until you are ready to use them during the marathon.

There is not a way to manually power the earbuds on or off. They automatically enter Sleep Mode and disconnect from your device when you place them in the charging case and close it.
