Can I force my Galaxy Z Fold 2 on Verizon Wireless to use 3G instead of 4G?

I have a GZF2 unlocked prepaid under Verizon Wireless. Is there any way for me to use 3G instead of 4G or the occasional 5G when in certain areas.?

Only option would be LTE/3G or 2G which won't work that's gone. There is legit no reason whatsoever to use 3G

What software version are you on? I just get groups of them for auto connect.

Yes should be under connections, mobile data in the section you find info on roaming. I turned mine off 5G and notice no data slow down or loss.

Enjoy it while you can. As of March of this year Verizon has announced they have extended the end of their 3G service to December 31, 2022. Now depending on where you live it may go away earlier as it's not like the whole network will be turned off at once.

AT&T's 3G end is February 2022 and I'm not sure when T-Mobile will be ending theirs

Bottom line is 3G is going away in the not to distant future.
