Clipboard on Edge panel not working

Why do you have to keep changing thing that doesn't need changing? 

The clipboard on edge panel was perfect. I would open it up and see everything that I have copied so I can paste them anywhere. 

What?!

Now it's asking to share? Who came up with this? I already have it copied. If i want to share it is in the clipboard. I just paste it. But wait, there is to paste! 

Change it back...

And don't over think it...

I can't even attach a screen shot here because it's 2022 and gen Z software developers are taking over.

All my years of using Samsung.. didn't know about clipboard edge. I've gotten by with pasting from my keyboard's clipboard just fine; screenshots save to it as well.

But.. hitting 'copy' prompts to share?? Text?? That's a strange design choice.

Yes. I use the keyboard one also. But for mass number of copy and paste, the edge panel is very useful. Well it was.

@TheGalaxy It looks like you are long pressing on the item in the clipboard edge panel. That opens a Preview pop up with the Share button. 

Instead, click the word Copy under the item that you want to copy. Then go to where you want to paste it and long press to paste.

I'm not long pressing. I'm just taping and that brings up the share menus.
Also, it's good that there is a copy button but I don't need to copy what I just copied. I need to paste it.
Funny is that it was working fine before!
