Galaxy FoldThere is a long-term battery-saving option on my Z Fold 5 (and presumably other models as well) called "protect battery." If enabled -- and I have it enabled -- it will stop charging the battery when it reaches a nominal 85%. This supposedly (and I believe it) extends battery life in the longer term.
But if I know I'm going to be out and about for a long time in a particular instance, I'd like to be able to say "Make an exception this time only and charge to 100%." If I want that behavior, I have to drill deep into the settings menus, reset the option, then remember to set it back when I'm done.
So what I'm asking for is a small app or widget or just a top-level menu setting -- maybe even its own tile in the quick settings tiles -- to execute this change for the current (or next) charge only. The feature would be available only if the "protect battery" setting is on.
