How can I determine what is taking up space in System folder is 299gb?

Is such a large system for normal?  How can I determine what's taking up so much space?  And can i reduce that size?

No, the system storage is what your phone uses to run the OS. There are no modification features allowed.

I checked a friend's s22 ultra and it has 105gb running same one ui5. I wiped the cache partition and recovered 1gb

I have an s22 ultra 512 GB and my system is only 60 gb.

I removed my work profile and recovered 230gb. So all good now at 60gb. Not sure the cause.
