Is it normal to put so much pressure using the S Pen on ZFold 4?

I'm the recent owner of a new ZFold 4, and after owning both a Note 20 Ultra and S22 Ultra I'm pretty used to using the S Pen. My question is; is it normal to have to put so much pressure on the ZFold screen to use the Fold Edition SPen? Diagnostics says it's normal, but it doesn't feel right to me.

@BLACKMAN36 No you shouldn't have to apply very much pressure at all. Just a light pressure should allow you to use the pen. 

Are you seeing this in one app or everywhere?

In multiple apps. In Samsung Notes, a couple of different coloring apps. It feels like I'm applying too much pressure on my screen so I've been using a soft rubber tipped pen for note taking.

@BLACKMAN36 Since it is an issue with physical sensitivity, doing it remotely might be tough. 

You don't by chance have multiple screen protectors installed?

Only on the outside screen, and that's only on the case. Without the case I have no screen protectors at all.
