Permissions with nearby device scanning are grayed out to allow, the list started with Bluetooth and the list has grown too tethering to simple phone services, I've reset settings and so forth with no change. I tried a hard reset and my zfold 4 will not do a hard reset, any ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated

@1-308 Can you provide a screenshot or two to help us understand which permission issues you are seeing?

By hard reset, do you mean factory reset? Phone settings -> General management -> Reset -> Factory data reset

Hello @1-308, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern of not being able to control the permissions.

If you are unable to reboot the phone into the standard operating system, we recommend having the phone serviced. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For assistance outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
