No chronological order to photos after iphone transfer?

Hi, so I have over 5000 photos and when I transferred my data from my iPhone all the photos dates now appear as the date they were transferred, not when they were taken. This means I have 5000 out of chronological order and cannot find anything! It's horrible. Is there a way to reset the photos to their original date?

How did you transfer them?

The transfer from my old iPhone to my new Samsung galaxy fold 5 was done in store, I forget what the app was but they plugged both phones in?

Maybe you should go talk to someone in the store that transferred them for you?
