RCS chat features in Google Messages unavailable

Just got my new Fold3. 

Installed Google Messages, went to turn on Chat feature and it says that it is not available for this device. Anyone know this?

Hey @Jtretakoff I still have a Fold2 but do recall a similar issue. I found that there was something that had to be enabled to get it to work but unfortunately I don't remember what. You might try posting on the Messages forum for help.

You need to download carrier services from the playstore.
