The S Pen Fold Edition, or the S Pen Pro are compatible with Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Fold4. However, it doesn't conect to your phone the same way the S-Pen on S and Note series phones does. So the button on the S Pen only works when your S Pen's tip is close to the screen, about a quater of an inch or closer (when you see a little round pointer on your screen).

Untrue, it has fully functioning air actions with the pro! As long as it(the pen) hadn't gone into its weird "need to be deleted and paired again" mode, you can control the phone from a distance.
Now, Samsung needs to update the pen function(which they haven't done in over a year), so that it will stop disconnecting from the phone, requiring deleting and pairing of the pen, over and over again.
