Unable to mute calls while I am calling out

Samsung update your phone app why is the mute button grey out for i want to mute while I'm calling someone not when they answer

It's only greyed out until after they answer. Send a screenshot of it during a phone call, not while you're dialing someone.

Which weird because my moto g play could mute it's never grey out

Does this occur while a call is active? If you're not connected yet, the option will be greyed out as seen in your screenshot.

The button is grayed out because the mic is inactive/disabled.  Once the call is connected the mic is enabled and you can mute it.
