What is the best way to use multiple phones on the same line without having to swap SIMs and restore backups each time you want to switch? Samsung's phones are betting better and better, and sometimes it's hard to choose just one.

Samsung should create a way to "login" to, say, the Note 20 for the day or weekend when going to a beach or water park, and then at the end of the weekend, log into the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to get ready for the work week. Or log out of the Z Fold 2 just for the evening and log into the Z Flip 5g to go to an event. When you get home, log back into the Z Fold 2, everything syncs up, messages, photos, no SIM swap at all.

It's not something that Samsung controls. The reason for the SIM is in order for your carrier to confirm that the SIM is paid for and then allow access.

So if that's the case then why can't Samsung work with carriers to come up with some sort of travelling SIM that is associated with the user so that when we want to switch between Samsung devices we don't have to take the physical SIM out as long as the devices are registered to our Samsung or our carrier account? It might be something like eSIM, but where we log into our Samsung account when we want to switch devices and as long as those devices are registered with our carrier and with our Samsung account we just switch freely.

You guys are the innovators and I am sure that you can do it.

The benefit is that we buy more Samsung devices and we easily switch between them based on the circumstances or the event.

If I'm going to a fancy event then my Galaxy Z Fold2 is ready to go when I pick it up off of the charging dock and log in. But if I'm going to the beach I just pick up my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and log in and I am ready to go. No switching SIM cards and risking breaking the little SIM tray. I just grab log in and go.

Who is your carrier? T-Mobile offers a service called "Digits" that allows you to assign your phone # up to 5 different devices...that way, you can pick your choice of phone for the day and they are all in sync.
