I just upgraded from my Z-Fold 3 to the 4.

I have the Fold 4 paired with my vehicle as I have always done with all my phones. I have it paired with Bluetooth but I mostly connect via USB and use Android Auto.

I was listening to Apple Music then all the sudden the bass and the sound volume just went away. All my other sources still sound fine it is just my Fold 4 the volume is very low and the bass is gone.

I've tried turning everything off and disconnecting but it made no difference. I can't understand what could have happened.

In my case. It was the equalizer. Turning off or setting to normal fixed it.

I am having the same problem. I plug in the cable and it starts playing loud then music drops in volume. This happens in both of my cars (Not trying to flaunt). The problem is Android Auto on the Z Fold 4. I tested Android Auto with the Z Flip 4 and had no problems.

I do find the Samsung Bluetooth sometimes very finicky and either won't find the BT device and/or won't connect. Sometimes by moving further away it helps.

Cable quality matters and try setting Equalizer in things like Apple Music to Normal.
