I have a note9 it was paired and was working properly until today. It wouldnt sync up to the car. Noramally it does it on its own. I tried to connect my phone to SYNC the system that FORD uses. and it wouldnt even pick up the bluetooth on it. Nothing has changed . Recently last week it would say system error . desktop error>? and it would reset it self and restart the system on my car. I dont knw if that has anything to do with it. but it was happening when making a phone call .

Hey guys, I'm tagging a few of you that I need one more piece of information from. Our specialists have responded and directly requested the baseband versions that we're seeing this happen with. If you are new to the thread, be sure to provide us with the model code of the phone, your baseband version, carrier, and the car/radio model information. Thanks!
Need Baseband Version information from:

2018 FORD Fusion Energi with SYNC
Never had Issue S8+ or with S9+ and no issue with wife's S9+.
But not going to hold my breath - I'm surprised that any corporation would put any trust in Samsungs Enterprise solutions - I will no longer recommend Samsung.

Same issue in 2017 Nissan Rogue...for $1300 I am highly disappointed...should have stuck with apple, my 2014 Chevy Traverse has to go through USB, no issue with my iphone... impossible with note 9...service is with AT&T...there has to be a fix soon or I am going to have to try and return.

Same issue here. I spoke with Samsung customer/tech support today, and they were unaware of the issue, then after I described the problem, was told it wasn't a problem, it was intended to be this way. That is simply not acceptable. I have used Samsung galaxy products for a decade.. But if it is intentional that bluetooth will either allow phone OR multi media but not both to work in vehicles, Im done with Samsung. I get the feeling this isn't going to be resolved, and get the impression Samsung simply doesn't care. But, heres my info anyway..
Carrier - Verizon
Model - SM-N96OU
Vehicle - 2010 Toyota Tundra
Baseband - N96 OUSQU1ARH2
IM still within my 2 weeks.. so if its not got a date to be fixed soon, I'm going with a different brand of phone entirely. I really want to know who thought it a good idea to intentionally make bluetooth either use the phone OR the multimedia, but not both?
