MyNote Info:

  • Model #: SM-N950U
  • Android Version: 8.0.0
  • Samsung Experience Version: 9.0.05.34
  • Carrier ATT

I have done this:

Settings -> Display -> Home Screen ->  There is no option for Portrait Mode at all.

Below is within the Home Screen selection:

Home Screen Layout  ( upon selected it is not in there)

Home Screen Grid ( upon selected it is not in there)

Apps Screen Grid ( upon selected it is not in there)

Apps Button ( upon selected it is not in there)

App Icon Badges ( upon selected it is not in there)

Add Apps to Home Screen ( upon selected it is not in there)

Quick -open notification Panel ( upon selected it is not in there)

Hide Apps ( upon selected it is not in there)

About Home Screen ( upon selected it is not in there)

Am I waiting for this to Send me a notification?

Should I wait before i download it to see if it is working efficiently?

These Waves is there a Notifcation that ATT gives us that we should look for in our Carrier Site?

Am i just looking in the Wrong area?

Hey, a downloaded App may be interfering with the phone's ability to rotate, click here to see how to test in Safe Mode. If rotation operates correctly in Safe Mode, uninstall some recently installed or updated apps. Let us know if this helps.

I do not even see the Rotate button within the grid view in quick settings. so I wont even be able to check in safe mode considering there is none there? Have I just not recieved this wave yet? Does anyone else not have this option in quick settings???

Any other help would be great thanks!

My Note 8 does not rotate on the home screen.

My Note 8 also doesn't have any feature within the pull down quick settings that says auto rotate or rotate or landscape or portrait or anything it would say to choose the option in order for it to apply this feature.

Any suggestions?
