Galaxy Note Phones
Title says it all. I have a Galaxy Note9, and I used to own a Note10+ (didn't like the 10+, so I went back a gen).
When I set my phone to vibrate, my phone still makes my notifications sound effect. It does this for multiple apps' notifications.

Do you think that maybe it being at least 5 years old, never getting any more Android updates or security updates that it might be nearing its end of life?

Maybe. It is relatively new. I bought the Note9 late 2021 brand new

Have you tried any troubleshooting like doing a soft reset or clearing the cache partition?

I have tried restarting the phone. I have been thinking of completely re setting up the phone.
