I love this phone and I hope samsung keeps updating it. Yes it seems fragile but...I had the liquid hammer added on the screen with a simple clear military grade back cover. I have dropped this phone more than any other I've had. The only time the screen shattered was while fishing in the mountains and it hit a pointed rock. Yes, I was bummed but highly impressed with the durability, though fragile looking, of the device and the liquid screen protector along with the back case.
You do realize your phone will no longer get any Android updates or security updates? So, if you continue to use it as your daily driver I would be very careful because you will be playing with fire.
I use a film protector from Gadgetshieldz and a Spigen case on my phone and never had a single damage after dropping it like 10 times! I love the built quality and the screen guard and case give complete protection!
