Please share what works. I've cleared cache, cleared data in tbe contact app, restarted, etc. Nothing seems to work. Samsung support by chat said it's a known issue?
It should correct itself within a few days. The first time opening Google Messages, it can take up to 24 hours for all your messages and contacts (along with their avatars) to populate.
