Can you force boot the device? If you can, I would do it....

Can you force boot the device? If you can, I would do it. Than I would back up your data and factory reset it. Than attempt the update again.

You should be able to restore your phone if your carrier...

You should be able to restore your phone if your carrier has a recover software like Verizon does but has to to be used in conjunction with a PC and your USB-C cable.
