I use a Galaxy Note 9. This frustration has been years in the making. While my phone is off, if I rest a finger/hand on the screen it'll turn on. Sometimes objects trigger this too, or when I'm wiping down my screen. I can't find a way to turn this off in the settings. Google has been no help, as every tutorial I've seen includes toggles that simply aren't there. I'm not talking about Pick up to wake, or double tap to wake, either.
