Galaxy Note PhonesMy voicemail notification will not clear since the last update. I have no new voicemail, I have tried clearing cache and data and force stopping on phone and call settings apps. Has anyone had this problem and found a fix? I am with giffgaff and the phone is unlocked.

Galaxy Note PhonesI have fixed it, I found that there are 5 apps when you search for 'phone' , you have to have 'show system apps' ticked, I had already cleared the cache and data for phone and phone services, but I think it was 'phone calls' that did it.

Galaxy Note PhonesThis is an issue that has recurred from time to time. I don't think there was ever a proper explanation for it. It usually happens on the watch. Voicemail is a carrier issue - always. It is possible that your voicemailbox is not sending the proper signal to your phone that it's empty and it thinks that there is a message in there. Contact your carrier and have them reset your mailbox.
